For this project, the brief we were given a menu and were asked to redesign it! The challenge was to not change a single piece of text and use everything in the menu. The original was a choice… but definitely needed the redesign. When I started researching the restaurant, I discovered that it first started in Hawaii. This discovery influenced my illustration style. I wanted to reference Japanese woodblock while keeping the playful vibes of Hawaii. This thinking led me to Lego printing!
